Series Explores Dark Side of Force

Disney has announced a new "Star Wars" television series, titled "The Acolyte." Created by Leslye Headland, the series will explore the dark side of the Force and take place during the High Republic era, centuries before the events of the Skywalker saga.

The series will star Amandla Stenberg as a former Padawan who reunites with her Jedi Master (Dafne Keen) to investigate a series of shocking crimes. The cast also includes Jodie Turner-Smith, Lee Jung-jae, and Charlie Barnett.
